The following is an important change that has been made to your Local 138, 138A and 138B
International Union of Operating Engineers Legal Fund concerning certain services under the plan.
The following legal services will no longer be covered under the plan:
- Bankruptcies;
- Consumer Matters;
- Property Claims;
- Excess Coverage
If you currently have an open case in these four categories as of July 1, 2017, it will be
covered until the case is closed.
Please place this information with your Legal Plan for permanent reference. If you have any
questions concerning the changes stated above, please contact the Fund office for assistance.
